MOTU Knock-Offs Galaxy Heroes & Troll Force Unboxing and Review

Hello everyone. So the Masters of the Universe were a very successful toyline back in the day. You can't have a toyline that makes a lot of money without getting a lot of imitators. One of the most extensive of the MOTU knock offs was a line called "Galaxy Warriors." The thing about Galaxy Warriors was that the parts (arms, legs, heads, weapons, etc) were continuously recasted and reused in other knock off lines. So the two toys we're looking at today are knock-offs of Galaxy Warriors, called "Galaxy Heroes" and "Troll Warriors." Hence, they are knock-offs of a knock-off. Dontcha love this stuff? 

Anyway, we're looking at "Triton" from the Galaxy Heroes line, and "The Green Yuk" and "Black Ninja" from the Troll Warriors line.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power Season 5 Finale Review

What's up folks. I just got finished bingeing season 5 of She-Ra and the Princesses of power. I am a massively gigantic Masters of the Universe fan, and I can confidently say that this show is the best cartoon yet of them all - better than the Filmation shows, New Adventures, or even 200X. The dialog is great, character story arcs are well realized, the stakes are high, and the finale is intense. Everybody should watch it.

Masters of the WWE Universe Wave 2 Unboxing and Review

Hello everyone! Hope you're all doing well out there as the world slowly comes to an end. So I finally got my hands on the entire wave 2 of Masters of the WWE Universe figures. Included is Rey Mysterio, Faker John Cena, Macho Man Randy Savage, and Roman Reigns. I think I actually like these better than the Wave 1 figures, in particular Rey Mysterio and Randy Savage are awesome. They work really well and pay homage to the classic He-Man toys. If you're into this kind of thing pick them  up as fast as you can as they're already pretty much gone from stores, and are starting to go up on the secondary market.

Masters of the WWE Universe Unboxing and Review

Hello everyone, for you fans of WWE wrestling or Masters of the Universe, here is my review of the Masters of the WWE Universe 5.5 inch figures. These are a pretty cool mashup of wrestling and MOTU. I'm a massively huge fan of Masters of the Universe (not so much wrestling, but I can appreciate it.) Apparently these are a sort of test run for the MOTU origins figures that are going to be released later this year. Anyway these took a bit by surprise as I had no idea these were even a thing. The figures look great, balance well, and a filled with little homages and callbacks to the vintage He-man figures I grew up with. If you're into this sort of thing I recommend picking them up now, as their value is already starting to go up on the secondary market.

Masters of the Universe Classics Slush Head Unboxing and Review

Hello everyone. So as anyone who reads my blogs or watches my videos should know by now, I am a massively huge super gigantic fan of Masters of the Universe. As a kid I had almost all of them, including several of the rare ones - The Sorceress, Scare Glow, the Eternia Towers, the works. So it came to great surprise to me to find Mattel released updated versions of the original toys. The cool thing about MOTU Classics is that the line also included characters from She-Ra Princess of Power, as well as the New Adventures of He-Man, which is where Slush Head is from.
So anyway, I got into this line a little late in the game, which means I now get to buy all of these at super inflated collectors prices. So I've made it a point to not go crazy buying every single one of these, instead focusing only on key characters that I really want. 
Which brings us to Slush Head. I was already getting a bit too old for toys when New Adventures came out (or so I thought...) I do remember the show and I thought it was pretty good, but by this point I  was already in middle school and wasn't playing with toys anymore, so I'm looking at these characters with unbiased eyes. The figure itself looks good and has great detail. We lose articulation at the head and waist, but all the other standard points are there. One thing I'm disappointed with is the metal tentacles, which are not bendable and attach in a flimsy way. It would have been much better to have these be of the rubber "bendie" type with a wire inside. 
Overall I'm pretty satisfied with this figure, it looks great on the shelf and fits in with the other classics figures well. Expect to see more of these reviews as I build up a large collection of these.

Thundercats Savage World Series 2 Unboxing and Review Funko

Hello everyone. For this video we're taking a look at Series #2 of the Thundercats Savage World figures, featuring Tygra, Monkian, Jackalman, and Cheetara (which is the one everyone wanted.) Included are some comparisons with the series 1 figures. I'm happy to say they turned out really well, and look great on the shelf next to my MOTU toys.
For those who have been keeping up, we've gotten the following in the line, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Thundercats Series #1 and #2, Horror Figures, as well as the tangentially related Son of Zorn and DC comics "Primal Age" lines. There was also supposed to be a Conan the Barbarian line which looks to be cancelled, which probably happened when Marvel bought back the Conan rights. 
Sadly this looks like the end of the "Savage World" line for the time being, there doesn't look to be anything new happening for the rest of 2020, which is really sad considering there's at least another 30 or so Thundercats characters alone they could do (not to mention the other franchises.) Here's hoping that the line gets resurrected next year, I would love to see more of these one day.

Marvel Legends 80th Anv. Hulk vs. Wolverine 2-Pack Unboxing and Review - UCD Videos

So I got this one for Christmas and I've been hanging onto it until I had time to make an unboxing video. The main reason I wanted this one is for the Hulk, which is done is the style of Sal Buscema, who was the artist on the Hulk for over a decade (and still the best imo.) The head sculpt is spot on. There haven't been very many comic accurate figures of the Hulk recently, most of them are patterned after the movies. Which is great and everything, but they look like Mark Ruffalo. I don't want Mark Ruffalo on my shelf, I want the Hulk.
Anyway, this set is already starting to go up in price, so grab it while you can.
